Recently a hooded wrestle has been seen with Joe Gacy’s stable, the Schism, and after it was promised they’d show themselves following an appearance at Halloween Havoc, WWE has followed through. With it revealed during NXT that the mysterious individual was, in fact, The Rock’s daughter, Simone Johnson, going by the name Ava Raine. Then following the reveal, she would deliver a promo, which understandably bore no resemblance to anything her father would typically have delivered, given the role she is playing. And since making her television debut, she has taken to Twitter in character, acknowledging her debut and being part of the faction.
Johnson signed with WWE all the way back in February 2020 and, since then, has been training so she can follow in her father’s footsteps. Unfortunately, though, she had to undergo knee surgery during this time, her third in total, which did significantly hinder her progress. However, as WWE applied to trademark the ring name she is now using on May 13th, it appeared her debut was upcoming, and the fourth-generation wrestler has since made a few appearances on house shows, evidently getting used to being in front of a crowd.
