Pineapple Pete aka Suge D aka Sugar Dunkerton made a fortuitous choice when he threw his pineapple Hawaiian shirt into his overnight bag before his last-minute trip to Atlanta for the AEW TV tapings. His extra spot turned into a spotlight match with Le Champion, and became one of the breakout angles of AEW’s taped, empty-arena shows! And now Suge D and Jericho are telling the whole story of how this spontaneous story came to be, including the importance of Pineapple Pete’s promo, and deliberate quickness of the in-ring match.
