Talk Is Jericho: The BlahBum Bunch – KISS Music From The Elder Uncloaked

The BlahBum Bunch has been called to order to debate the merits of the most critically-panned album of KISS’ career, “The Music Of The Elder.” BlahBum members Corey Taylor of CMFT, Slipknot & Stone Sour fame, guitarist Zach Throne, and Chris Jericho question the album sequencing, and scratch their heads over songwriting, production, players, and even the cover art. They talk about Ace Frehley’s minimal contribution and imminent departure, the arrival of Eric Carr on drums, and the return of Bob Ezrin to the producer seat. They’ve got some fantastic trivia about The Elder movie that never happened, the music videos that never released, and Paul Stanley’s text response when asked about “Music from The Elder.” And like almost every other member of the KISSArmy, they have plenty of theories and thoughts about the impact this particular album had on the direction of KISS’ career and future at the time.
