While she is nowadays best known for being Bray Wyatt’s widowed fiancée and mother to two of his four children, JoJo Offerman is her own person and previously had a career in the wrestling business herself. Still, when she sang “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan for Swerve Strickland’s entrance at All In: Texas, it caught many fans off guard. And now Strickland has discussed this while being interviewed by Wrestling Figure News, explaining he requested she do this because he wanted to repay Wyatt for supporting him when they were in WWE together.
31-year-old Offerman is the daughter of former baseball player José Offerman, who first got involved in pro wrestling via the E! reality show Total Divas before appearing on WWE television. From there, she would sing the US national anthem at 2013’s SummerSlam, leading to her becoming a ring announcer and pro wrestler. However, her in-ring career was very short, with the highlight being her participation in a 14-woman elimination match at 2013’s Survivor Series, where she pinned Tamina Snuka.
