Stolen WWE Hall Of Fame Ring Recovered

Earlier this week, the WWE Hall of Fame ring belonging to the late British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith was stolen from his son Davey Boy Smith Jr. during a Canadian Wrestling’s Elite tour stop in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Obviously, this came as a blow to the family, who had waited so long to see the WWE legend recognized by the company. However, in some much-needed good news, Smith Jr has confirmed on social media that the ring has been recovered after someone tried to pawn it.

Davey Boy Smith was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020 on March 12, 2020, via WWE’s After the Bell podcast with Corey Graves. Due to worldwide events, the planned WrestleMania 36 weekend ceremony was unfortunately canceled. Still, he was posthumously inducted during the combined Class of 2020 & 2021 ceremony on April 6, 2021, before WrestleMania 37 by his son, daughter Georgia, and ex-wife, Diana, accompanied by pet bulldog Buffy.
