The stars of the “Jackass” franchise have enjoyed increased time in the mainstream spotlight recently on the heels of their latest film, “Jackass Forever.” Johnny Knoxville and some of the “Jackass” cast were also heavily featured in a match against Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania 38. Steve-O, one of the wildest and most outrageous performers of the cast, has also achieved notable success with his “Wild Ride” podcast which has featured guests including Mayim Bialik, Joey Lawrence, Corey Feldman, Ronda Rousey, Dana White, Tony Hawk and many more.
On a recent episode with “Jackass” co-star Chris Pontius, Steve-O talked about some of his inebriated interactions with famous people. The now-sober comedian and show host revealed which famous people either treated him poorly or just didn’t want much to do with him at all. Two of which included Kid Rock and Prince. Steve-O explained he would often do a trick where he attempted to balance a cup on his head and drink it without touching it with his hands. “I mean dude, I’m always annoying, or at least I was really annoying, and I remember Kid Rock was with Pamela Anderson in like 2001,” Steve-O recalled. “And I was like, ‘Yo dude, alright man let me show you this trick.’ And I’m like balancing the cup and I’m trying to lay down, and he just f*ckin’ kicked me. He just straight kicked me and knocked the cup off my head. Ruined my trick.” Despite that contentious interaction, Steve-O talked in another podcast about doing large amounts of cocaine the Michigan-based rocker/rapper.
Price wasn’t amused with Steve-O, either. “Prince was a super jerk to me…So I’m doing my trick, and I had this model girlfriend, and he turns to my model girlfriend and is like, ‘Does this impress you?’ He said it in a real condescending, dick way,” he remembered. “And my model girlfriend said, ‘Yeah, it’s actually pretty impressive, you should check it out.’” High-profile celebrities who were friendly to the “Jackass” star included Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan.
