Interesting Twitter account @Wrestlenomics share some fascinating wrestling financial info and this weekend noted what Stephanie McMahon receives as “Minimum Annual Compensation” as a pro wrestler.
$750,000. Yes, you read that correctly.
To be fair it is only mid-card money, but considering over the past 5 years she has had 3 matches it works out a huge amount per match.
For those curious, her 3 matches were losing to Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey in a tag match with Triple H at WrestleMania 34 in 2018, beating Brie Bella at Summerslam 2014, and beating Vickie Guerrero in a Mud Pool match on Raw in 2014.
Stephanie though does not need to make do with just her wrestler income, she also received $2.81 million last year as Chief Brand Officer. Plus she received dividends on her 2 million WWE shares.
That’s a lot of Network subscriptions.
