Daria Berenato, better known to WWE fans as Sonya Deville, had a frightening experience when an obsessed fan broke into her house. He had a knife and planned to kidnap her, but thankfully her house alarm went off, and she was able to flee. Police arrested Phillip A. Thomas II, who has allegedly been stalking her since last year and has a troubling Twitter account all about Deville. He is being held without bail for on multiple charges.
Deville would take to her Twitter account last night to confirm everyone is safe and thank fans for their concern, plus acknowledge the police’s assistance.
Deville’s stalker faces a long time in prison if found guilty on any of the four changes. The charges of armed burglary of a dwelling and attempted armed kidnapping are both felonies in the first-degree in Florida, and punishable by imprisonment of up to 30 years.
