Slipknot recently announced an upcoming winter tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album. The band is also just days away from debuting their new drummer at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas.

The new drummer will take the place of Jay Weinberg who was unexpectedly let go last year. The band also parted ways last year with keyboardist Craig Jones.

There has been speculation of who the band’s new drummer could be, and apparently some savvy internet detectives may have figured out who it is. MetalSucks.net reported: “According to a post on Reddit by user tmt1983, a quick look into the source code of Slipknot’s ‘You Can’t Kill Me’ website revealed a list of image files with every band member’s name on it, but one stood out — eloy.jpg. Now, there’s no Eloy currently in the band and a certain now former Sepultura drummer named Eloy Casagrande recently quit his respective band to focus on ‘new cycles that will come,’ so it’s not hard to connect the dots here.”

The same internet sleuths also believe that another photo called “jeff.jpg” might be Jeff Karnowski who is involved in the Dirty Little Rabbits side project with Shawn “Clown” Crahan. Karnowski would apparently be the replacement for Jones.
