It was recently revealed that legendary metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne contracted C*VID. His wife and longtime manager, Sharon, shared the news on her new show, “The Talk UK. “Ozzy was only diagnosed… It was, like, middle of the night [U.K.] time. I spoke to him and he’s okay,” she said. “I am very worried about Ozzy right now,” she added. “We’ve gone two years without him catching C*VID and it’s just Ozzy’s luck he would get it now.” Their son, Jack, provided an update on Ozzy to TalkTV saying: “He’s doing well. I spoke to him shortly before coming in. He just says… I’ll save the colorful language, but he says it sucks.”

Sharon flew home to Los Angeles from the U.K. to help take care of Ozzy and ended up catching the illness as well. She recently shared a photo of herself in bed hooked up to an IV drip. While speaking to her co-star Jeremy Kyle earlier this week, Sharon provided an update on Ozzy: “He’s doing much better. His temperature is now back to normal; his coughing has stopped. He’s doing much better.” She also added: “But I’ve got some news to share. My daughter Kelly has it, I have it and the entire household has it now,” before adding, “I feel OK, actually.” Sharon previously caught the illiness in December 2020 and she said she was hospitalized for a short time. Ozzy had previously told GQ that he suffers from a respiratory disease that puts him at an increased risk of sever pneumonia. “I’ve got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I’m f*cked,” he said. He had previously joked with Metal Hammer that Satan helped keep him healthy. “My wife had the virus; my daughter had the virus and I never got it. Being a devil worshipper does have its good points.” Ozzy has had numerous health battles in recent years. He revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and had been suffering mobility issues following a back and neck surgery. He’s also battled the flu, pneumonia and a life-threatening staph infection in his thumb.
