Longtime music manager and television personality Sharon Osbourne came under fire last year while she was a co-host of “The Talk” on CBS. Osbourne defended broadcaster Piers Morgan from allegations that he is racist. Morgan questioned Meghan Markle’s claim that she was suicidal during her time as a member of the British royal family after her marriage to Prince Harry. Markle made the claim in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. After “The Talk” went on a brief hiatus, CBS announced that the wife of the “Prince of Darkness,” Ozzy Osbourne, would be leaving the show.

“Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave ‘The Talk,’” the network said in a statement. “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts. At the same time, we acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast. As it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race.”

I would never go back to that show because CBS sucks big time d**k … Hey, listen (I was let go). I don’t care. I honestly don’t care. It’s not like I need it.

While out shopping with her husband recently, Osbourne was asked by TMZ if she would ever consider returning to the show. “I would never go back to that show because CBS sucks big time d**k,” said said. When asked if she thought it was fair she was fired from the show, she replied, “Hey, listen it happened. I don’t care. I honestly don’t care. It’s not like I need it.” Earlier this month, Osbourne took to Twitter to tease a new project. “I’m saying Happy New Year now because I didn’t before, because I didn’t want to get on the old iPhone and talk to anyone, I’ve not felt like it,” she said in the video. “I want to share that I have been signed to do a new TV show, it’ll be starting very soon and I couldn’t be happier.
