Seth Rollins Seemingly Acknowledges The Shield Topping The PWI 500

On Thursday morning, Pro Wrestling Illustrated officially revealed the PWI 500 for this year, with Seth Rollins topping the list at number 1, followed by Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley at 2 and 3, respectively. And while Rollins hasn’t directly commented on receiving the accolade for a third time, he has seemingly acknowledged his ranking and those slightly below him by sharing a photograph of The Shield’s fist bump of solidarity.

The Shield, nicknamed “The Hounds of Justice,” debuted on November 18, 2012, at the Survivor Series initially as backup for CM Punk. However, thanks to mega push and the fact that all three men were immensely talented, they soon became a dominant force on their own. And while other stables like the Four Horsemen and the NWO are often listed ahead of them in terms of influence and popularity, it certainly is possible to make a case for the trio, especially considering their individual success since breaking up.
