Seth Rollins is currently sidelined due to injury, but remains involved with WWE through media appearances. And now, during a new interview with Mohr Stories, he has shared his candid views on wrestling personalities Vince Russo and Jim Cornette, calling both “jackasses.” However, if he had to pick one of them, he would side with Cornette, with whom he worked during his time in ROH.
Cornette and Russo remain two of wrestling’s most divisive figures, locked in a decades-long feud rooted in clashing philosophies. Cornette, a traditionalist, champions realistic in-ring storytelling and athletic credibility, often delivering extreme rants against modern styles. Russo, the Attitude Era writer turned WCW booker, favors shock value and swerves, and is often blamed for WCW’s decline. Cornette frequently blasts Russo on his podcasts, while the New Yorker typically downplays it, but occasionally responds.
