It’s been an eventful week for Irish wrestler “Session Moth” Martina, as not only has she signed with Ring of Honor but also received a follow from John Cena on Twitter.
Kevin Eck’s confirmed her rumored signing in his official ROH column, and apparently, she turned down an NXT UK contract to do so.
Initially, that sounds like an unusual decision, but her ROH deal will allow her to continue working for her current European independent promotions, and STARDOM in Japan.
Surpassing that news for her though is receiving a Twitter follow from her pro wrestling hero John Cena.
When Cena seemed to begin randomly following people on Twitter, Martina started campaigning to receive a follow herself, and he didn’t let her down. After two weeks of her and her followers trying to get his attention, he finally hit the follow button showing that he, like everyone else #fanciesmartina.
