Earlier this year, Saraya was the target of a disturbing incident at Comic Con Revolution Ontario where a fan tried to kiss her during a meet-and-greet. “Crazy I have to say this but if you come to my signings .. please don’t try to kiss me anywhere,” she wrote via X. “Especially ON MY MOUTH. He wasn’t able to because I moved but Jesus f*cking Christ.”
Saraya was a guest on a recent episode of Talk Is Jericho where she spoke about the incident further. She revealed that despite his creepy behavior, convention officials actually allowed the fan to stay.
“Yeah, that was crazy,” she told Jericho. “So you know how at the cons you do the sit-down booth, and then you go do the photo ops, the stand-up ones? Well, he comes in, gives me this big hug that literally took the breath out of me. I was like, ‘Whoa.’ And he goes, ‘Oh, sorry, sorry.’ Then he leans in, and I’m like, ‘What are you doing? What the f*ck are you doing?’ And everybody just froze. I was like, ‘Is anybody going to f*cking do anything?’ It was insane. We all just stood there. Then he finally gets escorted out, but the con didn’t fully kick him out. So when I was about to go back to the table, he was standing there saying, ‘But Saraya loves me. Saraya loves me.’ And I’m like, ‘Kick this motherf*cker out. Why is he still here?’ Oh my god.”
