Ronda Rousey Wonders If Fans Are Getting Worked By CM Punk’s Backstage Fight With The Elite

The biggest story in pro wrestling is currently the backstage fight between The Elite, CM Punk, and Ace Steel. And while it initially sounded like it could have been staged to set up future matches by blurring the lines between real and fake, once further information came out, it was obviously legitimate. As AEW suspended multiple people, hired an external firm to investigate, and has even prevented The Elite wrestling in Mexico.

However, some people still cling to the belief it is all work, and during a YouTube stream where she was playing Rogue Legacy 2, WWE star Ronda Rousey would question this when asked by her fans for her opinion. Then somewhat surprisingly, she’d outright suggest it may be work, asking her viewers if they were getting worked.

Was there a real fight? Everything is all hearsay. I don’t know what to say. I wasn’t there when it happened.

CM Punk was at the press conference. Uh, I know I didn’t see it but are you sure it’s not, you know, a work, you’re getting worked?

As a former MMA star who has openly been critical of the wrestling business in the past, it’s understandable that she wouldn’t follow closely what’s going on in a rival promotion. Although you would think even in WWE’s locker room, it would be a hot topic of conversation, and other wrestlers would have put her straight. Nevertheless, she has proven in the past to be open to conspiracy theories, having shared misinformation on Twitter.
