Ric Flair Reveals He Is About To Commence Cancer Treatment Despite Previous Denial

Ric Flair has had highly publicized health concerns over the past decade, although it was hoped that he was due some good fortune after finally stepping away from the ring. Therefore, when his son-in-law Conrad Thompson disclosed on X that he recently had skin cancer treatment, fans would feel terrible for the pro wrestling legend.

Still, Flair would subsequently address this himself on X, stating, “I’m sorry people have been misled by social media, but I don’t have cancer of any kind.” However, in disappointing news, Flair has now backtracked on this statement, telling People that he has actually been diagnosed with skin cancer for the “second time in three years,” and will be commencing treatment next week.

“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer, I will be undergoing treatment next week.”Ric Flair

76-year-old Flair is currently signed to AEW, having debuted for the company during the October 25, 2023, episode of Dynamite. Yet despite signing a multi-year deal, apart from his involvement in Sting’s retirement match in March 2024, he hasn’t gotten physical in an AEW ring. This is believed to be because Tony Khan decided to phase him out after discovering the 16-time world champion was on blood-thinning medication and didn’t want to risk his health.
