Rhea Ripley May Be Forced To Vacate The Women’s World Championship

Rhea Ripley is currently the longest-reigning and current WWE Women’s World Champion; however, PWInsider.com has now reported that the Australian star may be forced to vacate the title. The reason for this is an undisclosed injury that she apparently suffered during her backstage brawl with Liv Morgan during last week’s Raw. Still, it isn’t confirmed that she will definitely be giving up the title, although internally, due to the severity, it has been discussed as possibly occurring as soon as tonight’s episode of Raw.

27-year-old Ripley signed with WWE in 2017, and after impressing during runs in NXT UK and NXT, would be called up to the main roster in 2021. Subsequently, she has been presented as one of the foremost women on the roster and has achieved great in-ring success, even main eventing WWE’s Elimination Chamber premium live event back in February against Nia Jax.
