32-year-old Vaquer broke into the pro wrestling business in 2009 in her home country of Chile, initially competing under the ring name Dark Angel. From there, she began working in Mexico, where she also has citizenship, and after establishing herself in the land of lucha libre, would begin to get booked in Japan, taking her career to the next level. Therefore, despite having previously been rejected by WWE following a tryout, it didn’t come as a massive surprise that management changed its mind after her impressive match with Mercedes Moné.
