Potential Spoiler On CM Punk’s All Out Replacement

While never officially announced, it was believed that CM Punk was set to headline All Out this Sunday against Ricky Starks. However, with Punk subsequently suspended due to his altercation with Jack Perry at All In, another opponent is now needed for Starks. And while AEW is teasing Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat as his opponent in a strap match, it has been reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that this is possibly being done to set up a match with Adam Page.

“I think that the deal is when Saturday night’s Collison is over, we’re gonna know, either they’re gonna do the angle when Ricky Starks does the challenge, somehow it evolves, Ricky Steamboat. Somehow, it winds up as Punk or somehow winds up as somebody else, which I believe will be Adam Page, which is irony enough.”

If Starks vs. Page in a strap match is added to the show, following Saturday night’s Collision, it is already known that it won’t be All Out’s main event. That is because AEW announced during Rampage that Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW International Championship will take this spot. This will be historic because it is Cassidy’s first-ever pay-per-view main event.
