Last month, Bayley punched her ticket to Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble. She’ll face her former friend IYO Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship at the “Show of Shows.”
Following her Rumble victory, Bayley told WWE’s “The Bump” that she hoped that one of her favorite bands might play her to the ring, or at least failing that, would let her use their music.
“Let’s do Paramore for Mania,” Bayley said last month. “Hashtag Paramore for Mania. Maybe we can start that up because that’s been my dream. I’ve never got one of those big Mania entrances like everybody else so maybe I should get one this year,” Bayley said.
It appears Bayley got her answer, as she took to Twitter to share a video of Paramore singer Hayley Williams responding. Williams said: “Bayley says ‘Dude, I wanna play ‘Simmer’ for my entrance at WrestleMania.’ You have our permission, that’s sick, holy s*it.”
Bayley previously requested a collaboration with Paramore to create new theme music ahead of her return to the ring in 2022. She also previously asked permission from Williams to use “Simmer” for her entrance at WrestleMania 37, and was granted the request by Williams. Unfortunately, Bayley was not on the card at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, and she suffered an injury that kept her out of WrestleMania 38 the next year.
