Ozzy Osbourne Stars In Upcoming Super Bowl Commercial (w/Video)

Workday, a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, has recruited Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Ozzy Osbourne and Joan Jett for a new commercial that will run during the Super Bowl.

If you’re wondering what Workday does: “More than 50% of the Fortune 500 rely on Workday every day to manage their two most important assets — their people and their money,” the company wrote in a blog announcing its commercial. “We are the digital backbone for businesses and are mission critical in helping organizations transform and succeed. Put simply, at Workday we are shaping the new world of work.”

Ozzy has starred in numerous commercials in the past including spots for Samsung, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, World of Warcraft, Pepsi, Best Buy and more.

It was also recently announced that the Osbourne family would be returning to reality television with a 10-part series of 30 minute episodes for the BBC called “Home To Roost.” The show will document Ozzy and Sharon’s move back to Britain alongside daughter Kelly and son Jack’s efforts to support them as the family re-starts life in rural Buckinghamshire.

Ozzy has expressed his reservations with the show to The Mirror and has revealed that he’s “deeply nervous” about the project.

“I don’t know how the Kardashians have done it for so long – it sent us crazy at the end,” Ozzy told The Mirror of the reality TV experience, citing the long-running success of the multitude of shows centered around the members of the Kardashian family. “I am not sorry I did it, but after three or four years I said, ‘Do you know what, we’re going to lose somebody because it is getting too crazy.’”

Late last year, Ozzy also opened Survivor Series WarGames in a video spot soundtracked by the Black Sabbath classic, “War Pigs.”
