Ozzy Osbourne has a checkered past when it comes to drug and alcohol use to say the least, but the 75-year-old heavy metal legend has long since sworn off of the hard stuff. In a new episode of The Madhouse Chronicles, “The Prince of Darkness” discussed his long history with drug use. He admitted that these days he’s “happier, but I’m not completely sober. I use a bit of marijuana from time to time.”

Despite the admission, Ozzy credits his wife Sharon for keeping him on the straight and narrow.  “I’m lucky. My wife kicked my butt all the time. She would f*cking make life so difficult,” he said. “Even the marijuana, she’ll f*cking find it and get rid of it.”

The show’s host, Billy Idol guitarist Billy Morrison, asked Ozzy if he had ever experimented with microdosing, but Ozzy said that could be a recipe for disaster by “lighting the fuse.”

He continued: “I went to a doctor recently ’cause somebody I know very well started doing this ketamine. He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That feeling, that thing came back, that weight in my brain, waiting for somebody to go, ‘Bing.'” He added: “They don’t make smack-lite.”

“If you’re out there using and you’re having the blast of your life, my hat goes off to you,” he said. “But I guarantee — and I don’t give a f*ck who it is — it will bite you in the balls.
