Omos, real name Tolulope Omogbehi, is the third-tallest wrestler in WWE history, just behind Andre the Giant and Giant Gonzalez. However, his career has been very stop-and-start, with WWE management seemingly unconvinced by his ring work.
Still, despite his long absence from WWE television, the Nigerian powerhouse has somewhat surprisingly revealed during a recent interview that he has just signed a new multi-year contract with the company, noting that he “will be there for years to come.”
While Omos hasn’t wrestled for WWE since April 2024, thanks to the company establishing a working relationship with NOAH via Keiji Muto, the 33-year-old worked several matches in Japan at the start of the year. This would see him win the GHC Tag Team Championships with Jack Morris, to the delight of fans. Yet he would have to vacate his belt not long afterward due to WWE wanting him to return to the US, which, considering he hasn’t been utilized since, raises a few questions.
