In truly shocking news, Ashante “Thee” Adonis has taken to his Instagram Stories to request financial assistance for his uncle via a GoFundMe after he was shot five times. At present, details remain sparse, but according to the campaign shared, Maurice was shot on his way to work and initially wasn’t expected to survive.
However, while the WWE wrestler’s uncle has thankfully pulled through, he still requires assistance with his ongoing medical expenses, rehabilitation, and bills as he recovers. As of writing, $3,050 has been raised by 57 kind donors. Still, with a target of $100,000, there is a long way to go, so some of Adonis’ wrestling colleagues may need to dig deep.
