The Bella Twins had been connected to WWE since signing developmental contracts in 2007; however, eight months ago, they departed from the company and now go by the name of The Garcia Twins. Still, it was thought the separation was on good terms, so when WWE promoted Nikki Garcia’s upcoming new show Barmageddon during Raw and didn’t mention her by name, it was unexpected. And now, the WWE Hall of Famer has commented on her snub while appearing on NBC Chicago, calling it both “sad” and “disappointing.”
“It’s sad. Like, there’s obviously a lot of things I could say about that. I think, more than anything, it’s disappointing. I worked there for 16 years, and I helped pave the way for them. Not only that they’ve always been family to me, and no matter what, walking away, for me, it wasn’t malicious. I’m at a point in my life. I wanted to do things without hearing the word ‘no,’ and it was just strictly business.”

Therefore, it is disheartening that the company has chosen to ignore Nikki in this fashion. Yet, it should be noted that her sister Brie has teased joining her husband, Bryan Danielson, in AEW in the future, and perhaps that has soured the company towards the duo despite their past contributions.
