New Report Suggests Bron Breakker’s Injury Was Self-Inflicted

Over the weekend, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE’s Bron Breakker had undergone surgery for what was described as a “serious” hernia. And now PWinsider.com has discovered that the injury was self-inflicted, occurring during last Monday’s episode of Raw when the second-generation wrestler flipped over the announce table.  At present, no timeline is known for his return, although with WrestleMania less than 8 weeks away, he is up against the clock if he is to wrestle at WWE’s biggest event of the year.

We are told that Breakker was hurt during last Monday’s Raw when he flipped the table over.   We are also told that by Wednesday 2/4, it was determined he was going to require a surgery for a hernia.– PWInsider.com

WWE is already without several notable talents, with Seth Rollins arguably the biggest name who could miss WrestleMania 42 after sustaining a shoulder injury in October. Additionally, Bianca Belair, Kevin Owens, Piper Niven, and Sheamus also remain unavailable. However, injuries typically open the door for other talents to step into key positions, perhaps leading to someone like Austin Theory or Royce Keys claiming an unexpected WrestleMania spot in Breakker’s absence.
