Earlier this year, it was reported that Kevin Nikel, who worked in NXT under the name Knuckles Madsen from 2012 to 2013, had tragically died after being shot in the stomach. And now, in news that can only be described as shocking, it has been reported by RingsideNews.com that his ex-wife, Amanda Penny, and her new partner, Michael Hogue, have been arrested for his murder.
Nikel broke into the business back in 2007, initially working on indie shows in Tennessee. From there, he would catch WWE’s attention and got to wrestle in NXT, sharing a ring with future main roster talents such as Rusev and Baron Corbin. Still, it wouldn’t work out for him at the time, and he would depart the company, although he remained in the business, competing as Ivan Warsaw.
