Mercedes Moné Files Trademark Application For New Nickname After departing WWE amid creative disputes, Mercedes Moné debuted for AEW in 2024 and, since then, has been collecting belts from various promotions all around the world. These include the AEW TBS Championship, CMLL World Women’s Championship, and RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
And now, having just won her tenth belt, the Bodyslam Women’s Championship, it has been noted that she has filed a trademark application for “Último Moné,” which is clearly a reference to the Japanese legend Último Dragón.

For those unaware, Último Dragón achieved the feat of holding ten championships simultaneously in the 90s, including the WCW Cruiserweight and NWA World Middleweight belts. At the time, it was believed that it would be impossible for anyone to ever break this record. However, on October 19, Moné will take on Jody Threat for the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship, which most assume will see history made.
