Earlier this week, metal core band Every Time I Die decided to call it quits. Four of the five members including guitarist Andy “The Butcher” Williams of All-Elite Wrestling fame, posted a joint statement announcing the band was splitting due to internal issues. On Dec. 3 vocalist Keith Buckley announced he was taking a mental health break from the band but later said that since getting sober, he felt ostracized from the band and specifically from his brother, guitarist Jordan Buckley. Keith Buckley later posted a screenshot of the letter he sent from a lawyer to the other members of the band before both sides gave even further explanations into the band’s dysfunction.
It appears though that Every Time I Die, minus Keith Buckley, are planning to start a new band, according to Jordan Buckley in a series of Twitter responses. ETID fan Chris Cronin tweeted: “Please keep going with at least the four of you,” to which Jordan responded “That’s the plan. I hope I never stop getting in a room with these 3 to write rippers.”
Jordan also praised his brother in another response saying, “There is no replacing Keith which is exactly why we never even gave it a thought. Tremendous talent. Very gifted.” Every Time I Die’s ninth studio album, “Radical,” was released in October on Epitaph Records, but unfortunately, the band didn’t get much time to tour in support of the new music.
