Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Tells Off Drunk Fans At Show (w/Video)

According to a Megadeth fan in attendance at the band’s July 31 show in Stockholm, Sweden, singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine told off two unruly fans from the stage. The fan also posted video of the incident and explained what was happening in a social media comment.

“They were being loud and obnoxious by interrupting Dave during one of his speeches, saying they wanted to go up and play with him,” the fan wrote.

“They were teenage boys with no shirts on who kept mosh pitting (nothing wrong with that) so I think Dave already noticed them but I do remember one of them screaming face to face at a girl close to me right before they spoke to Dave. I might be wrong here but it seemed like she got mad at him for pushing his way through and he tried to explain himself in a very rude way.”

Mustaine was in the middle of a show break and speaking to the crowd when he addressed the two in question.

“You say you could play as good as me? F*cking I’d like to see… Shut up. Just shut up, you’ve had your 15 seconds,” Mustaine said.

“If I have to say it one more time, I’m gonna ask security to take your f*cking drunken *ss out of here, do you hear me?” The crowd cheered him on before Mustaine added, “See, that’s what happens when cousins f*ck.”

Mustaine has never been one to hold back if he thinks fans, or even other bands crew members, are being unruly or disrespectful. Last year, he apparently told off a crew member who was preparing for Judas Priest to take the stage after Megadeth.

“The last night of the tour — we went all the way to the last f*cking night, and then some p*ssy over on the stage next to us has to start playing while we’re playing,” Mustaine said at the time. “How f*cking pathetic, amateur piece of sh*t you are.”
