It’s common knowledge that there is heat between Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar, much of it stemming from the unapologetically antagonistic “Rude Dude” taking shots at the fellow former UFC fighter. Still, whether the pair genuinely hate each other or Riddle is just angling for a match is unclear, but it certainly keeps Riddle’s name in the news. And now, during MLW’s latest show, Riddle has taken another shot at his rival by telling Cesar Duran that his “matchmaking is worse than Brock Lesnar, bro.”
39-year-old Riddle has been described as his own worst enemy, having derailed his promising careers in MMA and pro wrestling despite his undeniable talent. Yet when Riddle revealed he doesn’t care about no-showing bookings, dismissively saying, “If I miss 5 shows out of 100 in a year, eat it. I don’t care,” even his staunchest fans were shocked by his blatant disregard for professionalism. Still, given his name value, it seems likely he will continue to get bookings even if a return to WWE appears off the table.
