While cosplaying is a big deal nowadays, some people do find it bizarre that adults dress up as celebrities. And now, suggesting that Kevin Nash is among this group, a Randy Savage cosplayer who goes by the username @TheMachoverse has revealed in a new video uploaded to Instagram that he was blocked by the nWo founder.
Seemingly, Nash felt that dressing up as his deceased colleague was disrespectful, as before the blocking, he left a harsh comment saying, “Please let Randy rest in peace. You f*cking mark.” Still, some people have considered this hypocritical, as Nash had previously accepted money to take a photo with the fan in full costume, not mentioning his issue at the time.
Savage was one of the biggest wrestling stars of the ’80s and ’90s, and thus it’s unsurprising that he remains so popular despite being out of the wrestling spotlight for over 25 years. Therefore, while Nash found a fan cosplaying as Savage to be inappropriate, those who cosplay as Savage are clearly doing so out of love for their hero and, in a small way, are actually helping to keep his memory alive.
