During an episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul left Hulk Hogan staggered when he didn’t know what the words “work” and “shoot” meant, indicating the part-time WWE wrestler knew less about the business than the average fan online. Still, two months later, it appears Paul has spent some time carrying out research, as he admitted on a recent podcast episode that he feels he has “go away heat,” acknowledging that a section of fans genuinely dislike him.
While Paul is undoubtedly very athletic and has proven that, given time to rehearse and is an experienced opponent, he can have an excellent wrestling match, he remains incredibly unpopular online, thanks to multiple controversies. Arguably, the biggest came in 2017 when he filmed the body of a deceased man who had apparently taken his own life and uploaded it as content for his YouTube channel, which sickened most of his viewers.
Yet, he may have actually surpassed this in 2023 when he attempted to launch Crypto Zoo, an NFT-based game that saw users lose over $4 million and subsequently file a class action lawsuit against him. However, it should be noted that while Paul publicly apologized, he did not take personal responsibility, instead, he blamed “conmen” and “felons.”
