Limp Bizkit resumed touring in July, however, it’s now been announced that “Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, the Limp Bizkit August tour is being cancelled.” Specific details on why the tour has been scrapped have not been given. Still, Blabbermouth reports frontman Fred durst apparently felt really sick after the band completed its soundcheck for their Asbury Park, New Jersey show on Friday, which possibly played into this. For fans reading this who had already purchased tickets, it’s understood refunds will be processed automatically.

Hopefully, Durst feeling unwell doesn’t indicate a more serious issue, and if it does, he can make a full recovery. The nu-metal icon recently made headlines and was ridiculed on social media after revealing he had given up baggy clothes and his trademark red cap. Instead, he is sporting a vastly different look, now having longish gray hair, a mustache, and wearing a dress shirt. You can view this in a fan-recorded video below.
