Shortly after Lexis King debuted on NXT, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T discussed his look on his podcast and, controversially suggesting the second-generation wrestler lose weight because he looked “bigger in the wrong areas.” And while King has never addressed this publicly, it appears he has recognized that losing weight could be beneficial for his career, as he has taken to X to divulge he’s lost 23lbs in just six weeks, telling his followers that they can now call him “Skinny Lexis.”

31-year-old King broke into the business via Lance Storm’s wrestling school in 2017, opening the door for him to wrestle in MLW when still considered a rookie. At the time, MLW contracts allowed their talents to also work for AEW, so he also became a regular on Dynamite and Dark under his real name, Brian Pillman Jr, working as a singles competitor as well as in tag teams with Griff Garrison and later Brock Anderson. However, in July 2023, AEW decided not to renew his contract, which surprised many fans at the time, given the high regard in which his father was held in the industry.
