On Saturday, Sportskeeda Wrestling posted a photo on their Facebook page titled “BREAKING: WWE LEGEND HOSPITALIZED,” featuring Lex Luger’s photo. This subsequently went viral, prompting fans to express concern about the WWE Hall of Famer’s health. However, in good news, the 67-year-old legend known for his past health challenges has swiftly debunked this on X.com by saying, “False news!! I’m doing great.” How Sportskeeda got this news so wrong is unclear, but it paints the publication in a very negative light.
“Hey Everybody. I was just made aware of this. False news!! I’m doing great!!” – Lex Luger
Sadly, Luger has faced severe health challenges over the past two decades as in 2007, a freak spinal cord injury on an airplane caused nerve impingement in his neck, leading to limited mobility from the neck down. Still, this cervical injury, possibly exacerbated by years of wrestling, has shown significant improvement thanks to intensive rehabilitation with Diamond Dallas Page, allowing him to stand independently for the first time in recent years. And while in early 2026, Luger encountered a setback with atrial fibrillation, thanks to blood thinners preventing further complications, he continues to defy odds.
