Lady Frost Seemingly Takes Shot At Impact Wrestling Confirming They’ve Denied Her Release Request

Lady Frost, the granddaughter of Tony Marino, a wrestler who previously tagged with Bruno Sammartino, signed with Impact Wrestling in 2021. Yet, despite being featured in matches with the promotions top female stars like Deonna Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace, and Rosemary, she would somewhat surprisingly ask for her release this past June. And while the reason that she wants out of the promotion remains unspecified, she has now seemingly taken a shot at management. Doing this via Twitter and likening her contract situation to a relationship where one partner doesn’t care about the other’s well-being or financially supports them.

Frost started wrestling professionally in her 30s, which isn’t typical, but with the sport in her blood and looking like a natural in the ring, she has gotten to work enhancement for both WWE and AEW. And while things clearly haven’t worked out in Impact Wrestling, it seems bizarre that they are preventing her from progressing her career elsewhere. Especially considering she last wrestled for them in April and doesn’t appear to be in their future plans.
