Kid Rock has generated plenty of headlines recently as he gears up for the release of his new album, “Bad Reputation,” later this year. Recently he took aim at President Joe Biden and infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci, among others, in a new song, “We the People.” He also took to social media to assure his fans he wouldn’t play concerts where mandates were enforced. On Tuesday, Kid Rock praised his fans while also calling out Rolling Stone Magazine, The Grammys and Hollywood with a line that didn’t make the final cut of “We the People” due to “time constraints.” He linked a fan reaction video to the song.
“F*ck Rollingstone! – F*ck the Grammys too! – and hey Hollywood…Man f*ck you too!!”… some lyrics from We the People that didn’t make the record, for no other reason than time constraints! These are the critics that matter these days and I hope they, and the demographic they represent, come to some shows. I know we would all embrace them and welcome them to the party as we all understand that good people are just good people! Thank you again to all the fans, hands down greatest on earth! -Kid Rock”
Kid Rock’s “Bad Reputation Tour” kicks off April 6 and runs a total of 24 dates. Foreigner, Grand Funk Railroad and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening are special guests on varying dates throughout the trek. In a Facebook video, Kid Rock said he and his team did extensive research and are confident there are no gigs booked at a venue with a vaccine mandate.
