R-Truth, Carlito, and Valhalla all recently confirmed on social media that they were departing WWE, with the decision having been made that their contracts wouldn’t be renewed. And now it appears that Karrion Kross’ long-term future with the company could be in question, as Fightful Select reports that the former TNA star has only a few months left on his deal and has not been approached about extending it.

“Based on what we’ve heard, WWE has not yet approached Kross about a contract extension or renewal, and we haven’t heard if they’ve indicated interest in doing so … As best we know, there are a few months remaining on Kross’ deal.”Fightful Select

39-year-old Kross signed with WWE for the first time in 2020 and has had many ups and downs during this run. One highlight was winning the NXT Championship for the first time from Keith Lee in only his seventh match on the brand. However, his most significant low would come when he and his wife, Scarlett, were released due to budget cuts. Still, with Triple H seemingly having been a supporter of the couple, they were promptly rehired once he gained control of creative and talent relations.
