WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently announced he was severing ties with the company that made him a global star due to its ongoing association with U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration. This followed Trump’s controversial social media post regarding the death of high-profile critic Rob Reiner.
And now his former rival and occasional tag partner, Glenn Jacob, known to wrestling fans as Kane, has commented on this during a new interview, saying he feels Foley is wrong but is entitled to his opinion, adding, “that’s the beauty of America.”
59-year-old Glenn Jacobs transitioned from wrestling to politics, embracing libertarian principles, endorsing Ron Paul in 2008. Running as a Republican, he won the 2018 Knox County mayoral primary and general election, taking office as Knox County’s mayor and being reelected in 2022. Known for being a vocal Trump supporter, he publicly endorsed him in 2024 alongside The Undertaker, has publicly defended him, and even appeared alongside him.
