Jey Uso Might Have Gotten His Catchphrase Back

The word “Yeet” was noticeably blurred on Jey Uso’s t-shirt during a video package on this week’s episode of Raw, and it was later noticed that WWE had stopped selling the popular design. This led to speculation on social media as to why, and it was soon revealed that WWE had halted using the word after discovering that indie wrestler Kasey Huffman had previously trademarked it. However, it now appears WWE has potentially reached an agreement with Huffman as his filing is now listed as a “dead application,” and Jey took to X on Friday night to post the word along with a heart emoji.

The word first became known to WWE fans during The Bloodline storyline but really took off as a catchphrase in its own right when Jey used it at Fastlane’s post-show press conference while enjoying some alcoholic beverages. Therefore, many fans were disappointed when it appeared the second-generation star could no longer use it, and some even thought those who had already purchased merchandise featuring the word had a collector’s item. Yet, that appears to have been premature, and it’s likely the t-shirt will again be for sale in the coming days.
