The signing of Jade Cargill was presented as a massive coup for WWE as they’d managed to get a homegrown AEW star to switch sides. However, in the eyes of some, this has seen the former basketball player pushed too hard and too fast, given her experience. And now, during the Raw Recap Show, Cargill has discussed the pressure she feels, noting that she considers herself overly criticized when she makes a mistake.
33-year-old Cargill’s wrestling career began in 2019 with a WWE tryout, although despite being offered a contract with the company, she decided to learn the business on her own terms. This led her initially to both Heath Slater’s and AR Fox’s wrestling schools before eventually joining the Nightmare Factory, where she trained under QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes. Subsequently, he opened the door for her to become All Elite in 2021, debuting opposite Cody and Brandi Rhodes and being given a Goldberg-esque winning streak.
