Heavy metal icons Iron Maiden performed the first show of their “Run For Your Lives” world tour on Tuesday in Budapest, Hungary. The show marked the first with new drummer Simon Dawson who replaced longtime drummer Nicko McBrain. Dawson also plays in British Lion with Maiden bassist Steve Harris.
In addition to breaking in Dawson, the band also announced via social media every song in the current setlist as the band performed them. They had previously promised a best-of style set featuring songs from their debut through “Fear Of The Dark,” and Tuesday’s reveal certainly won’t have many detractors.
