Hulk Hogan Announced For Big Role At WrestleMania 37

Hulk Hogan and WrestleMania are synonymous for many fans because he was one of the main attractions of the first nine shows. After several years working for WCW, he would even turn back the clock and arguably had the event’s most memorable match ever when he faced The Rock at WrestleMania X8.

Now, WWE has announced that the 12-time world champion is returning to the event he made famous, with both he and Titus O’Neil hosting this year’s two-night pay-per-view. Hogan’s appearance will come just days after he is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time, alongside Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and X-Pac as the nWo.

Hogan’s previous WWE appearance was part of a successful Raw Legends Night on January 4, 2021. WWE scheduled the special themed episode following the December 14, 2020 episode setting the show’s all-time record-low ratings with an average of 1.53 million viewers. Thanks to would heavily promoting both Hogan and Ric Flair ahead of time, along with no NFL competition, resulted in the show having an average of 2.13 million viewers.
