Metal fans rejoiced earlier this year when the genre’s forefathers Black Sabbath announced their “Back To The Beginning” concert which will mark their final live show ever and also the last performance from frontman Ozzy Osbourne. The July 5 concert in Birmingham, England will include performances from Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera and several others. The show will also feature guest appearances by Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Duff McKagen, Slash, Lzzy Hale and Fred Durst, to name just a few.

Sharon Osbourne previously shared some details of how the show will go telling NME: “It starts at noon, then you’re going to see one icon playing with another icon, doing a Sabbath song and one or two of their own songs, and people playing with each other that you never you’d see,” she said. “Tom Morello is going to play with the drummer from Tool and they’re going to have Billy Corgan with them – they’re all from Chicago so they’re all doing their bit.”

She continued: “Then you’ll see Slash and Duff and whoever they choose to play with. David Draiman is going to come up and sing, Jonathan from Korn is going to be here and he could be playing with Chad Smith or whoever! Alice In Chains are coming and they’re playing as the band.”

Sammy Hagar recently told Loudwire that Ozzy will perform just five songs at the show. He said he got the details from the show’s director, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello. “I chose to do “No More Tears” and Tom goes, ‘Oh, that would be great,’” Hagar explained. “And then he comes back and says, ‘Guess what? Ozzy’s going to try and sing five songs and he wants to sing “No More Tears.’”

Hagar then gave Morello his second choice. “OK, “Flying High Again,” and (Tom) goes, ‘You got it.’ So right now, I’m singing “Flying High Again.” If Ozzy changes his mind, I’ll sing “Flying High Again” and “No More Tears.”
