Back in 2021, Violent J of the Insane Clown Posses announced he was suffering from atrial fibrillation, which is an abnormal heart rhythm, and thus, the band would be having a farewell tour. Therefore, it was a surprise when it was revealed he was not only appearing for Billy Corgan’s NWA but would also be wrestling at their Samhain pay-per-view. And now confirming how much he loves the business and wants to be involved, it has been reported by Haus of Wrestling that he has been working for the promotion for free and is also flying himself in.
“Concerning J, we are told he flies himself in and works for free.”
HausOfWrestling.comViolent J, along with his ICP partner Shaggy 2 Dope, started out backyard wrestling before forming the controversial band. They wrestled in WWE, WCW, ECW, and TNA at the height of their popularity and fame, and in 1999, they started their own promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Twenty-plus years on, they continue to run shows, with Bloodymania still considered a highlight of the year for many of their Juggalo fanbase.
