How 2K Intends To Tackle Brock Lesnar’s Inclusion In WWE’s Upcoming Video Game

After Brock Lesnar was implicated in Janel Grant’s shocking lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis, the company quickly distanced itself from the former UFC star by canceling his Royal Rumble appearance. Subsequently, it was also noticed Lesnar had also been taken off the cover of the premium edition of their upcoming video game, with many assuming that meant he would no longer be WWE 2K24 at all. However, it has now been reported by Insider-Gaming.com that Lesnar will actually remain in the game’s files but will be set as unplayable as it was too late to take him out.

“Multiple sources have told Insider Gaming that while it was too late to fully remove Lesnar from the game, the plan shifted to simply make him unplayable for players upon release. Despite being unplayable, his character and game files are still within WWE 2K24. That means that there will be ways for those with the ability to get him to become playable, it’ll just take some work to make it happen.”

46-year-old Lesnar has taken multiple hiatuses from WWE over the years, although in this instance, many speculate that this absence could be permanent. Of course, he may eventually return when the heat dies down, although, at present, he is getting the Chris Benoit treatment and seemingly won’t be acknowledged by the company in any way going forward.
