Here’s What Rock Tours Grossed The Most Money In 2021

There were 13 rock/metal tours in 2021 to make Pollstar’s “2021 Year-End Top 100 Worldwide Tours” list. Led by The Rolling Stones ($115.5 million), the list also included tours from Guns ’N’ Roses, KISS, Slipknot, Megadeth, Green Day and Slipknot. Perhaps most impressive was that The Rolling Stones generated enough money for the top spot from only 12 concerts. The band’s drummer, Charlie Watts, also died on Aug. 24 at the age of 80, just a month prior to the tour’s kickoff.
