GoFundMe Launched For Beloved WWE Crew Member Who Still Needs $140K In Just Days

In very depressing news, the wife of Jim Shank, a man who has worked for WWE for 25 years in their event operations department, has been forced to turn to GoFundMe in an attempt to save his life. Shank has been fighting stage IV colorectal cancer for three years, and while he has insurance, the treatment he now requires isn’t fully approved, meaning it isn’t covered. This has therefore left him needing to raise $200,000 by  December 1, or he will no longer qualify.

While $200,000 is a massive sum, as of writing, $60,000 has been raised, with many WWE Superstars donating generously, including Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, who each gave $10,000. Additionally, Alexa Bliss, Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, Aleister Black, Natalya, and Bo Dallas have also contributed, indicating that Shank is a popular backstage figure. Still, a considerable amount is still required, with it heartbreakingly noted on the GoFundMe that “this is our only chance to save his life.”
